Overnight, weekend lane restrictions to start on US 60/Park Avenue/Hinkleville Rd.

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a contractor plans to start overnight and weekend lane restrictions along US 60/Park Avenue/Hinkleville Road on Tuesday, March 7.

They say the overnight and weekend lane restrictions start on US 60 Business/Park Avenue at mile point .206 near the intersection with US 45/H.C. Mathis Drive and extend westward from the Noble Park area along US 60/Park Avenue/Hinkleville Road to the Friedman Lane intersection at US mile point 11.076.

The work will include diamond grinding and concrete pavement repairs. KYTC says this is designed to smooth and increase the life-span of the concrete driving surface.

Additional work will include installation of ADA compliant sidewalk upgrades at street intersections along urban section of the route from US 45 to Allen Lane/County Park Road at mile point 11.827, with asphalt resurfacing on the remaining one mile rural section westward to Friedman Lane.
