Deputy jailer accused of bringing illegal drugs into jail
A deputy jailer was arrested Wednesday for allegedly bringing illegal drugs into the McCracken County Jail.
Rhonda J. Hall, 32, of Ted Williams Drive is charged with promoting contraband 1st degree (Class D Felony, punishable up to 5 years in prison), and official misconduct 1st degree (class A misdemeanor).
The McCracken County Sheriff Department was contacted Wednesday by Jailer Bill Adams about information that alleged a deputy jailer being involved in bringing illegal contraband into the jail and supplying inmates. Deputies say Jailer Adams and staff assisted detectives by providing all requested information that was needed to conduct the investigation.
