Paducah Symphony hosts Christmas concert | Arts & Culture

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The holiday season is upon us and you're invited to the Paducah Symphony Orchestra's annual Christmas concert.
The "Home for Christmas" concert will take place on Saturday, December 10th at 7:30 p.m. at the Carson Center.
It features performances by the Paducah Symphony with Artistic Director and Conductor Raffaele Ponti. The orchestra will be joined by the PSO Symphony Chorus and Children's Chorus, under Director Bradley Almquist, and the PSO Youth Chorus, under Director Amy Aucoin.
Santa Claus will also be on hand to take photos with children. He'll also take part in the evening's festivities.
You can expect to hear timeless Christmas classics like Leroy Anderson's "Bulger's Holiday," "typewriter," and "Sleigh Ride" along with Victor Herbert's "Babes in Toyland: March of the Toys."
Tickets are $50 for the main floor, $44 for the loge and first balcony, and $25 for the second balcony. Student tickets cost $15. Group discounts are available.
A pre-concert performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. That performance will be by the Paducah Public School's Elementary All-District Singers, conducted by Dale Julian, Natalia Krupansky, and Kristen Swisher.
