MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - McCracken County students were recently selected for All-State band and choral honors.
Lone Oak High School students Erica Rust and Kayla Joseph qualified for the Kentucky Music Educators Association All-State Women’s Chorus.
Heath High School student Dani Kern qualified for the KMEA All-State Senior High Chorus and Heath High School students Patrick Carroll,
Kylie Herring and Jessie Pafford qualified for the KMEA All-State Junior High Chorus.
Heath Middle School student Ethan Johnson qualified for the KMEA All-State Children's Chorus and students Alex Bohannon, Madison Heath and Connor Tilford qualified for the KMEA All-State Junior High Chorus.
Heath High School students Kylie Herring and Kayla Tuttle qualified for the American Choral Directors Association All-State Senior High Chorus.
Heath Middle School students Alex Bohannon, Addison Evitts, Madison Heath, Sean Sieczka, Kiersten Slankard and Connor Tilford qualified for the ACDA All-State Junior High Chorus and student Ethan Johnson qualified for the ACDA All-State Children's Chorus.
Lone Oak High School Logan Blackman and Nathan King qualified for KMEA All-State Band. Blackman was named 1st chair bassoon - Symphonic Band and King was named tuba chair - Orchestra
KMEA All-State performances will be Feb. 6-9 in Louisville.
