Housing Authority of Paducah hosts lead safety class | Business

PADUCAH (KFVS) - The Housing Authority of Paducah is hosting a lead safety class for contractors and individuals at its training center located at 2330 Ohio Street.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Certified Renovator lead safety class will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, July 27.

The class fee is $250 and is due no later than class time. The fee includes textbooks and class supplies.

This EPA accredited course explains how to comply with EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule.

After passing the end-of-course exam, students receive RRP Certificates allowing them to comply with the RRP Rule.

This training is required for contractors involved in any construction activity that has potential to contact lead-based paint.
