PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Horses4Heroes will mark the anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy with Hero Appreciation Day open houses in Paducah and Lexington.
The open houses will include free horseback riding, demonstrations, refreshments and more. The group says all active duty service members, veterans, first responders and their families are invited to attend.
The open houses include:
- Sept. 8-9 - Wisdom of Life, 5065 So. Cold Springs Rd. in West Paducah, Ky. from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, you can call 270-558-4176

Since 2006, Horses4Heroes has introduced more than 5,000 servicemen and women to horses and horseback riding, simply because of their sacrifice and service to our country. Las Vegas-based Horses4Heroes is a non-profit organization that serves all active duty military personnel, veterans, First Responders and their families.
