Paducah cleaning business partners with nonprofit foundation | Community Spirit

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah cleaning business recently partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, a nonproft organization that helps women focus on getting well instead of focusing on cleaning their home.

Residents in western Kentucky and southern Illinois, now have a residential cleaning service, Luxor Cleaning and Concierge Service, that will help reduce the financial burden family’s face when a loved one is undergoing cancer treatment. Their goal is to “help those who need our services most," said owner Julie Whitaker.

Whitaker said Cleaning for a Reason is exactly what our world needs.

Luxor Cleaning & Concierge Service will provide two women free house cleaning services per month for four months to help these women have peace of mind and a clean home.

“It’s the least we can do to take care of each other and show our true human spirit," Whitaker said.

Since 2006 Cleaning For A Reason has donated over 12,000 free cleanings to women battling cancer. The organization utilizes a network of over 1,000 residential cleaning services in the United States and Canada, which have donated over $3,000,000 worth of services.
