'Tiaras For Keira 5K run and one mile walk' set for March 9 | Community Spirit

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A 5k run and one mile walk called "Tiaras for Keira" wll be March 9.
Runners and walkers will gather at shelter #16 in Noble Park starting at 8 a.m. This will give participants a chnace to register, pick up racing packets and enjoy music by a local band. The 5K begins at 9 a.m., followed by the one mile walk at 9:15 a.m. Food and refreshments will be available.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Down Syndrome Association of Western Kentucky to spread awareness of this genetic condition.
The event will include a silent auction where several donated items will be sold off to the highest bidder to help raise money. It is in memory of Keira Grace Holt.
On the morning of February 20, 2013, Keira Holt, 4, passed away and left many lasting memories for family members and friends. This bubbly, loving, and caring four year old had a genetic condition known as Down Syndrome.
