Paducah woman charged on warrant for allegedly using stolen credit card | Crime
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah woman has been charged on a warrant for fraudulent credit card use.
Royale M. Johnson, 22, was arrested Thursday, Sept. 12 at 2:49 p.m.
According to Paducah police, a Crime Stoppers tip led to her arrest in connection with the use of a stolen credit card at various locations around Kentucky Oaks Mall.
Officers say a Vienna, Ill. man told them he lost his wallet on Aug. 11 and several of his credit cards since have been used to buy different items, including a cell phone and children's clothing.
Less than 24 hours after a photo of the two suspects was released to the media, police say a tip was received via text message to Crime Stoppers. According to police, both the man and woman in the photograph were identified.
The woman, Johnson, was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail. Police say the man in the photograph has not been charged, but the investigation is continuing.
