Woman accused of possessing, driving with meth | Crime
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) – A Kevil woman is accused of possessing and driving under the influence of drugs, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department.
Christa Ballard, 34, of Kevil, Ky. was pulled over for not using her turn signal on Friday morning, according the sheriff’s department.
During the stop, police searched the car.
Police found several small bags of methamphetamine, adding up to 25 grams.
Police also found a glass meth smoking pipe along with other items of drug paraphernalia.
Ballard was also driving under the influence of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff's department.
Ballard was charged with failure to/improper signal, DUI 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance 1st degree - methamphetamine 3rd offense and trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree - methamphetamine 2nd offense.
Ballard was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
