Sheriff: Ky. man shot in foot with shotgun after argument | Crime
PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A western Ky. sheriff says a man was shot in the foot after an argument on Wednesday. It happened shortly before 11 a.m.
Jesse Day, 39, was charged with assault second degree and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
According to McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden, deputies were called to the Woodlawn Mobile Home Park at 365 Meacham Lane for a reported shooting.
Sheriff Hayden says Micheal Bo Cash and Jesse Day had gotten into an argument in the mobile home park. Day then went to the mobile home of a relative and retrieved a 12-gage double barreled shotgun. He went back out into the mobile home park, found Cash, and shot him in the right foot.
Day was later found in the trailer park, according to Hayden.
The sheriff says the reason for the argument is still under investigation.
