Deputies say fire started by fireworks in McCracken County | Crime

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - A teenager has been cited after fireworks started a grass fire in McCracken County on Thursday afternoon.
West McCracken County Fire Dept responded to a residence at 4835 Craven Drive in West Paducah around 1:20 p.m. for a grass fire.
Deputies say the fire chief then asked for the deputies to respond shortly after their arrival.
According to the sheriff's office, 18-year-old Marquan Williams had been shooting off bottle rockets in the backyard of the residence. The fire consumed a grassy area of a the field and wood line adjacent to this residence.
There were several dozen burned off bottle rockets that were in the backyard as well as in the burn area.
Williams was cited to court for disorderly conduct.
