Detectives look for fugitive wanted for jumping bail | Crime
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in finding a fugitive wanted for first degree bail jumping.
Jose Alejandro Rojas is wanted for bail jumping, which the sheriff's department says stems from a 2011 charge of trafficking cocaine. According to the sheriff's department, Rojas allegedly had about 50 grams of cocaine with the intent to distribute. He was set to be sentenced for the charge in April 2012, but failed to appear and has been hiding from law enforcement since that time.
According to the sheriff's department, Rojas still has family in the Paducah area and is known to work for Mexican food restaurants. They say he uses several aliases, but usually goes by Alex. He is 28 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches and 230 pounds.
If anyone knows where Rojas is, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 270-443-TELL.
Those with information leading to the arrest of Rojas could be eligible for cash reward of up to $1,000.
Anyone with information about illegal drugs can contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Drug Division at 270-444-5157.
