Police search for 2 men in connection with Paducah pharmacy robbery | Crime

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Paducah Police Department is searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery early morning of Tuesday, August 7 at a pharmacy.

The police department says officers were called just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a burglary at Walgreens on Lone Oak Road.

They say a clerk told officers that two men, dressed in black, had come into the store with handguns and ordered her to open the cash register at the front of the store. Police say the men took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. They were last seen running across the parking lot toward Alben Barkley Drive.

Police say they are unsure of the suspects' race because they were wearing full face masks and their hands were covered by gloves. One man is described as 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 6 inches and the other man is 5 feet, 4 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches. They say both have slim builds.

According to police, there were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery, and that four employees present were not injured.

Sergeant Brian Laird says investigators are looking for anyone who was in the area just before or just after the robbery, who might have seen something suspicious.
