Paducah woman arrested after forged prescription investigation

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Kentucky State Police arrested a Paducah woman after a month-long investigation into a possible forged prescription.

Jennifer Laird, 29, was charged with six counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, first offense.

KSP says they received a complaint in September of a possible forged prescription and after a month-long investigation, Laird was indicted by the McCracken County Grandy Jury in November.

Police say Laird was arrested in Mayfield and taken to the Graves County Jail under a $2,500 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
