Paducah teen charged in connection with Nov. 28 burglary | Crime
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested a Paducah teen in connection with a burglary reported on November 28.
Austin L. Potter, 18, was charged with first degree burglary, receiving stolen property (firearm), receiving stolen property U/50, possession of synthetic cannibinoid agonists or piperazines and drug paraphernalia buy/possess. He was taken to the McCracken County Juvenile Detention.
According to the sheriff's department, they received more information on Dec. 3 about the burglary which led them to Geibe Road. While there, officers say they spoke to Potter and he admitted to burglarizing another home on Geibe Road.
Officers say Potter stole multiple handguns. watches and jewelry. They way they received consent to search the home and found two stolen handguns, along with several stolen watches and jewelry.
Deputies also spoke with a male juvenile they say admitted to helping Potter in burglarizing the home.
