MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary to the concession building at the Lone Oak Youth Baseball/Softball Association ball fields.

On Jan. 19, deputies say they responded to an alarm activation at the ball field at 650 Denver Avenue. When they arrived, they say they saw a small concession building near the batting cages had been burglarized.

According to the sheriff's department, suspect(s) got into the building by force and damaged it. They say a small safe with an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

On Jan. 21, the sheriff's department says Sandy Joslyn, Lone Oak High School Band Booster President, reported a burglary to the Lone Oak High School Football field concession stand. They say Joslyn reported the burglary occurred between Jan. 17 and  21. Officers say forcible entry was made into the concession stand, which caused damage to the building, and several bottles of drinks were taken.
