MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Teddy Bears will be bringing smiles to Lourdes pediatric patients.

Go Games, a seasonal toy store in Kentucky Oaks Mall in Paducah, has donated 30 teddy bears that were remaining from the holidays to Lourdes Foundation.

The teddy bears will be used by Paducah Pediatrics for patients that are scared or need comfort when undergoing procedures such as vaccinations or tests. In addition, the bears will also be given to pediatric patients that have been admitted to the hospital or given to big brothers or sisters who are visiting the Little Miracles Birthing Center when a sibling is born.

These teddy bears will provide comfort and security to help our pediatric patients when they are afraid," said Tara Miller, Lourdes Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer.
