MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS)- Confessed Heartland serial killer Timothy Krajcir faces more charges from a 1978 sexual assault out of McCracken County.

A grand jury indicted Krajcir on charges of first degree burglary, robbery, and sexual abuse along with kidnapping.

Krajcir is accused of breaking into a building on Jan. 1, 1978, restraining a man then assaulting a woman.

Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Seth Hancock says they are working to get Krajcir back to Paducah soon to face these new charges.

Krajcir pleaded guilty to killing five women 30 years ago in Cape Girardeau.

He was sentenced to 13 consecutive life sentences in 2008 for five counts of first-degree murder, three counts of rape, four counts of sodomy, and one count of robbery.
