PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - The Livingston County Sheriff's Department says a Paducah driver hit a Ledbetter teen around 8:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22 on US Highway 60 West.
According to officers, Danielle Bledsoe, 18, of Ledbetter was walking along US Highway 60 West when she was hit by a 2003 Chrysler driven by Kimberly Smith, 53, of Paducah.
They say Bledsoe was taken by ambulance to Western Baptist Hospital for her injuries. Officers say Smith was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Donald Crawford. He was helped at the scene by Livingston County Ambulance, Ledbetter Fire Department and Livingston County Sheriff's Department.
