Heath High School names new assistant principal | News
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Heath High School has named their new assistant principal.
John Adams will now fill the role. He has worked in McCracken County Public Schools since 2011 as a classroom teacher and head football coach at Heath High School.
“Mr. Adams as assistant principal is a great addition to the Heath High School,” said Heath High School principal Jon Reid. “He cares about students and will be key to the continued success of students at Heath High School.”
Superintendent Dr. Nancy Waldrop agreed.
"John understands that relationships matter in student success," she said. "He is dedicated to student success both academically and athletically."
Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in business and secondary education and a master’s in school administration. Prior to his work in McCracken County, Adams served as a classroom teacher and football coach at Christian County High School.
“I look forward to continuing the excellent tradition that Heath High School has established,” Adams said. “It is an honor to serve such a strong school and community.”
