PADUCAH, KY (KFVS)- Deputies say a Paducah woman was driving impaired and reading a text before a crash early Saturday morning.

Jennifer Bradley, 25, of Paducah was charged with DUI 1st Offense .08 aggravating circumstance, no motor vehicle operators license and using a personal communication device while driving first offense.

The crash happened around 4:35 Saturday morning on Benton Road near Watson Road.

Deputies say Bradley was westbound on Benton Road and lost control of her car, ran off the road and overturned in a ditch.

Investigators say Bradley was reading a text at the time of the collision. And that alcohol and speeding were factors in the crash.

Bradley was taken by EMS to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway was partially blocked for around an hour for cleanup.
