Three vehicle accident sends two to hospital | News

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Office responded to a three vehicle crash in the 4100 Block of Cairo Road at 7:37 on Monday morning.
Thomas Sharp, 46, of Paducah was driving his vehicle southbound on Cairo Road and crossed the northbound lane of Cairo Road colliding head-on with a vehicle driven by Issac Gray, 22, of Paducah, according to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.
The impact sent Sharp's vehicle spinning backwards where it struck another vehicle driven by Deborah VanFleet, 47, of Paducah, in the southbound lane of Cairo Road.
Sharp and his passenger, Meagan Tharp, 28, of Paducah, were both transported to Western Baptist Hospital by Mercy EMS. Concord Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Both lanes of Cairo Road were shut down for approximately 45 minutes because of the collision.
