PADUCAH, KY (KFVS)-
Police say a man was hit and killed by a train Monday Morning in south Paducah.
It happened around 7:15 a.m. on the railroad tracks closest to Clark's River Road in south Paducah.
According to Paducah police, the victim is Jacolby D. Askew, 22, of Paducah.
A railroad employee told police he was spotting for a train engineer when he saw a body on the tracks adjacent to Clark's River Road behind Lowe's.
Investigators say Jacolby D. Askew had been hit by an earlier train, but the crew of that train apparently was unaware.
That train was en route to Centralia, Illinois.
Detectives say they will interview the crew, but foul play is not suspected.
