Fugitive arrested with 2 others in McCracken County | News

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Three men were arrested Tuesday morning after officers stopped them in a stolen vehicle in McCracken County.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says they arrested the driver, Jeffery Ecklid, 27, of Parma Mich., along with two passengers; Brett Bernhardt, 23, of Paducah, Ky. and Jonathan Coleman, 19, of Jackson, Mich.
Deputies say a 2012 Ford F-150 was seen driven recklessly on John Puryear Highway. Officers checked the registration on the truck, and found the vehicle had been reported stolen in Jackson, Mich.
When officers stopped the truck, they found Ecklid was wanted on non-related felony charges in Michigan and two misdemeanor charges in Kentucky.
Bernhardt and Coleman were also arrested on drug charges. Berhnardt was arrested for possession of marijuana, while Coleman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ecklid was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $10,000, tampering with physical evidence, DUI 1st offense, no operator's license, failure to wear seat belt, reckless driving, and giving officer false name.
