PADUCAH, KY (KFVS)- A candidate for the mayor of Paducah is dropping out of the race.
Robert Coleman cited health reasons for stepping out of the race.
Coleman says he plans to file the official paper work at the clerk's office in the next couple of days.
In May, four candidates ran for the mayor positions in a primary election.
The top two advanced to the general election which will be held in November.
Coleman was one of the final two. The other candidate is Gayle Kaler.
The clerk says no one else can be added to the ballot, but anyone can still file as a write-in candidate as long they did not run in primary race.
