MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department were called to Clinton Road Thursday morning after a driver lost control of her car, ran off the road and flipped the car.
At about 9:13 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the crash. According to officers, a 2004 Honda van driven by Valerie Phillips, 52 of Paducah, was traveling west on Clinton Road (KY 339) and had dropped off the right shoulder of the road. They say she managed to get the van back onto the road and then lost control again. Officers say she over-corrected causing the van to run off the road again on the right side, into a ditch and flipped it several times before coming to a rest off the road on its wheels.
According to the sheriff's department, Phillips was taken to Lourdes Hospital by Mercy Ambulance for minor injuries.
