PADUCAH, KY (KFVS)- Paducah police say a complaint about a loud party led to a burglary arrest last night.
23 year old Jach Hayes of East Chicago, Indiana was arrest Thursday night on burglary and other charges after officers went to Charleston Apartments on Jefferson Street to check out a noise complaint.
They say Hayes first gave them two different names and three different social security numbers.
Another officer recognized Hayes' name as a suspect in a burglary Tuesday at a home on Jackson Street.
He alerted the officers at Charleston Apartments, and on a couch just inside the apartment, the officers saw items that had been taken in the burglary.
Hayes was arrested, and finally gave his correct name.
When dispatchers checked, they found Hayes was listed in the National Crime Information Computer system as charged in a Will County, IL, warrant with aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
A 17-year-old with Hayes also was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice. She is charged in a Joliet, IL, warrant with failure to appear. She was also arrested.
