Driver injured after wrecking car on Old Mayfield Road | News
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - McCracken County deputies responded to a single vehicle accident around 11:47 a.m.
Deputies say a 2001 Honda Civic drivin by 24-year-old Jeremy Petter was traveling east on Old Mayfield Road (KY 994). He told officers a dog ran out in front of his car and he tried to avoid the animal.
According to the sheriff's department, Petter veered to the miss the animal, over corrected and ran into the ditch on the left-side of the road, over a driveway and into a utility pole.
Petter was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
