Paducah teen injured after car hydroplanes, rolls over | News

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department responded to a roll-over crash on December 17 around 5:35 a.m. on the 1300 block of South Friendship Road.
According to officers, Devin S. Hunt, 18 from Paducah, was driving a 2012 Nissan Vibe northbound on South Friendship Road when his car hydroplaned on a curve. They say the car left the right side of the road and a hit a driveway culvert, which caused the car to become airborne and roll over on its side three times before coming to rest in the road.
Hunt was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EMS and The Lone Oak Fire Department.
The sheriff's department says both lanes of South Friendship Road were closed for about one hour for the clean-up and investigation of the accident scene.
