2 injured in motorcycle crash after driver swerves to avoid deer | News

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says two people were injured Tuesday, January 8 after a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Holmes Drive and Sheehan Bridge Road.
Around 5:12 p.m. deputies say they were dispatched to the intersection. When they arrived, they say Eric Isom, 43 from Paducah, was northbound on Sheehan Bridge Road when he swerved to miss a deer and laid the motorcycle down on its side.
Officers say the passenger on the motorcycle was Eric Isom's daughter, 16-year-old Heather Isom from Paducah. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Jason's Wrecker Service, Reidland Farley Fire Department and Mercy EMS.
