Drivers asked to use caution on Ky. roads | News

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) crews continue to treat roadways in several counties of western Ky. 

According to Keith Todd with KYTC, currently crews continue to focus mainly on bridges and overpasses which have continued to create slick spots. 

There have also been reports of persistent icing on hilltops where the wind has cooled down pavement temperatures overnight.

Drivers are asked to use caution as a number of crashes have been reported at bridges and overpasses along Purchase Parkway in southern Graves County.

There have also been crashes reported along US 45 in southern McCracken County.

Trucks continue to salt and patrol problem areas and bridges and overpasses are being treated in most counties.
