PADUCAH, KY (KFVS)- Deputies say three people are facing drug related charges in western Kentucky.

Wednesday, detectives say they arrested Xavier Smith and Opal Woodford for trafficking a simulated controlled substance at their residence on Reidland Road pursuant to arrest warrants detectives obtained.

During the arrest, detectives say they found methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia throughout the home.

Woodford was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Undercover detectives say they had purchased an item that Smith and Woodford tried to pass as crack cocaine in 2012.

On January 18, Deputy Croft arrested Kaitlin Myrick, of Paducah, Kentucky, on a warrant stemming from December where a K-9 found marijuana and other drug items during a traffic stop.

Myrick was lodged in the McCracken County Jail for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

More charges are expected.
