Old Mayfield Road re-opened after semi hit 2 power poles

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Old Mayfield Road is now open to traffic and Paducah Power crews have finished their work on the utility lines.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, the road had been closed after a 1996 Peterbilt Semi truck with no trailer attached had run off the right side shoulder and hit two power poles before coming to a rest.

The sheriff's department says the 4000 block of Old Mayfield road was closed and traffic diverted while Paducah Power crews replaced the damaged utility poles to restore power.
