Paducah infant injured in car crash

 PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A three-month-old child was injured in a one-vehicle crash in West Paducah.

At approximately 11:40 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 7500 block of Ogden Landing Road for a car crash with injuries. 

Lauren Howard, 24 of Paducah, was driving a 1997 Pontiac 4D when she swerved to miss a dog on the roadway. Officers say the car went off the right shoulder and she over-corrected. 

They say she lost control of the car and it overturned on the roadway coming to a final rest off the left-shoulder. 

The child was injured in the crash and flown by medical helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital. 

Howard was taken to Baptist Health by ambulance. She was later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital by medical helicopter.
