Kevil, Ky. man arrested on drug charges | News

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS)- Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff's department arrested a Kevil man Tuesday on several drug charges.

According to the department, detectives had been getting new information about Lamar D. Wilson, 28, of Kevil over the last few days regarding Wilson being involved in illegal drug activity.

Detectives searched Wilson's house at 110 Sunrise Drive in Kevil on Tuesday just after 6 p.m.

Doses of Hydrocodone, marijuana, digital scales and $4,655 in money believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales were found in the house.

Officials say Wilson has prior convictions for theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and drug paraphernalia.

From the investigation on Tuesday, Wilson received charges of trafficking in Marijuana over 8 ounces, 2nd subsequent offense; possession of a 2nd degree controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia.
